Whitewall Galleries Present Anna Gammons
Produced over 3 days, this documentary follows break out Artist Anna Gammons, commissioned by fine art gallery Whitewall Galleries. We split shooting between London, Anna’s studio and a seas scape setting, to show the breath of locations that Anna finds her inspiration from and feels at home in. We wanted the documentary to be as beautifully shot as Annas artwork, so we shot during mostly sunrise and sun set to add a cinematic feel to the imagery.
The colour palette in this documentary was very important during production and something we carefully considered. We wanted to mirror the colours and energy from Annas paintings - we achieved this with a strong complimentary colour, saturated colour grade, shooting during sunset, sunrise and blue hour as well as down to the clothing Anna wore - to really complete the colour separation she so often paints into her work.
